What we will not do with your personal information.
We do not sell our membership list to anyone. Nor, do we share or trade this information with others that may use it to contact you about their own products or services.
Web site and electronic commerce.
We will strive to protect the privacy of those who visit, browse, or use our Web site(s) at <www.info-woodlot-assoc.org> and <www.ontariowoodlot.com>. For example, we do not collect information on those individuals who access the Web site; we do not make e-mail addresses available to other organizations; and the information you provide to us on-line will only be used to provide you with the information that you have requested.
Like all web servers, certain information is logged about each visit to the site. For example, the address of your Internet provider, your operating system and browser service, the date and time of your visit, the pages and files you visited or downloaded, the web site that linked you to our site, and the search engine and keyword ‘word’ used to find our site. This information is summarized into aggregate reports and is used to provide us with a means in determining if the content and services available on our Web site(s) is meeting the association’s goals and objectives.

We will protect your personal information by maintaining the appropriate technical and organizational safeguards against loss, theft, unauthorized access and disclosure.

We will strive to keep your information as accurate, complete and up to date as possible. You may ask to see that information to ensure its accuracy and have it amended as appropriate. The information will only be retained for only as long as it is needed, or as required by law.

At any time a member, partner or individual can refuse to provide personal information or may withdraw their consent for us to keep or use the information they have provided us. Should the occasion arise, and you wish to be removed from selected, or all of our contact lists, please contact the association’s Chief Privacy Officer (see contact information below). Note you should be aware that in such cases, this might limit the association’s ability to provide you with the necessary services to meet your needs.
